EXTRA LARGE VEJIBAG

Brought one of these XL Vejibags to test with storing and keeping Wheatgrass fresh over the six day cycle compared to the standard plastic green veggie bags that was currently being used. The bag is absolutely worth the cost, no signs of browning and the grass looks as fresh as the just harvested grass on the plate on the right. The big is too large for the grass and therefore will but the three bag set. The bag is made of heavy duty cotton, machine washed and dried the first time as instructed and there were no ill effects, have been hand washing since. The bags works well when it is only lightly moistened, wring all of the water completely out of the bag and it stores very well.

Wonderful to have a plastic free storage option for our veggies. These have worked really well and have kept our veggies fresh and crisp. They are easy to use, organic and made in NC. The Vejibags did arrive in a plastic bag with a plastic tag holder. I contacted the seller and they no longer use the plastic tag holders on new stock (older stock may still have them). Also, it is Amazon that requires the plastic bag on textiles. Amazon...Please help your sellers be more sustainable by not requiring plastic on their items.

Keeps my spinach and leafy greens fresh longer! This really works!! A must have!!

It works beautifully! I have tried so many methods to keep greens from wilting and none worked for more than a few days. The Vejibag delivers on its' promise.

Holy cow! First of all this thing is HUGE! If you’re like “oh no will it hold all these veggies” yes. Girl yes.Bell peppers ✔️Head of lettuce✔️Bunch of spinach ✔️Celery ✔️Ugh I have such a small crisper drawer in my sad little apartment fridge this was a GAME CHANGER!Also these veggies last a long ass time! Now I have no excuse for not eating my greenies.

This has been so good for my veggies. My lettuce will last about 3 weeks in here. You just have to get it damp and it works like a charm!

These bags really work great to make produce last longer. I have used them for center, scallions, carrots, lettuces and herbs. They work well for all of them.

I purchased a single xl to test the concept. Previously I had been wetting towels, wrapping produce, and storing them in leftover plastic bags.Now with this product there can be complete coverage. It actually has a top that comes down and completely covers the top opening. Currently storing kale, chard, and a big head of lettuce in my xl and it has room for more.Only comaplaint is that it will stain. I would recommend that they switch to a brown or charcoal color but just an idea.

This bag is amazing! My lettuce easily lasted over 2 weeks in this bag. I also had spouts that I put in there and they lasted double there normal time. I like that you can put more than one vegetable type in the bag at the same time.

I have these in all sizes. Excellent for reducing use of plastic bags and actually keeps leafy greens and other vegetables crisp and fresh for longer than plastic containers.

We're trying to eliminate single-use plastic. We keep a lot of greens and herbs in the refrigerator and had previously washed them dried them and then put them in a plastic bag with a paper towel. They lasted pretty well but not great, and then we had to throw away the plastic, or wash it, which is a pain. The Vegibag changes all that...we wash them off, put them in the bag wet, and put it in the fridge. They stay totally fresh for a long time and come out perfect. It's easy to wash with the towels. One big one holds several greens and herb bunches at the same time. Well worth the money.

I store all greens and cruciferous vegetables in this. It’s amazing, Ksle used to go limp in the fridge after a day or so, this bag keeps greens (and celery, spinach and Romain fresh for 4 to 5 days, no problem. I recommended one to my buddy and bought one for my mom

Our lettuce kept going limp, or would get a bad case of slime. On a vacation to St. Paul I saw these bags and purchased one just for lettuce. Lettuce of all sorts are already old by the time they arrive in interior Alaska so this was a bit of a Hail Mary. It worked! Not only did the lettuce last longer, but it actually crisped up the lettuce! This bag is terrific for broccoli and celery. You have to wet the bag throughly, wring it out well before using it for best uses. It was much less successful for herbs or berries.

Love using these bags. We buy spinach every week and now it actually stays fresh and crisp the whole week. We have four bags and use them every week. Just wish it was not packaged in plastic for shipping.

Great for fresh produce

I bought these because I was having trouble keeping up with the vegetables from my CSA. They work perfectly, but I found you have to wash them occasionally. Duh!

this does exactly what it says - it keeps my greens and veggies fresh for days. LOVE IT

I have a standard size vejibag and just ordered another, larger one because I love it. I keep my carrots, scallions, radishes, cucumbers (whole), peppers, and zucchini in there and they stay crisp for over a week. (I haven't tried salad greens because they already stay crisp in my salad spinner.) The vejibag does exactly what it says it does. I check it every couple of days and re-wet the bag if it feels dry. Great product.

I hate slimy veggies. Limp ones are almost as bad. I've used this for lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers, kale, spinach, carrots, radishes, and others. They all keep exceptionally well. This XL bag is large enough to fill my veggie drawer in the fridge. Smaller ones are a little more convenient, but this one is big enough to hold a big head of romaine.

We buy our kale in very large amounts, and I heard this would keep it fresher longer. ITS AMAZING. The kale on day 5 is exactly like day 1. The good reviews here are for real.

I am in love with these bags. Bought a couple to test and should have bought many more. My produce lasts incredibly long! I went from wilted and beginning to rot lettuces around 2 days in plastic, to 7 days with these bags. Genius!

Very nice sturdy bag, doesn't leave lint on contents. Works great for many fruits and veggies, but I am not finding it great for greens and lettuces; they get pretty wilted and it happens faster than in plastic. I tried moistening the bag more, but the lettuce is still limp. It probably doesn't help that our store lettuce is already old by the time it ships to Alaska, but this bag just won't work for greens for me. I'll continue to use it for other produce.
